A sky-high love story that was cleared for takeoff at Etihad Airways. ✈️

Introduced by a colleague who may have secretly been running a matchmaking service, our story began amidst the fast-paced rhythm of airport life. Somewhere between departures and arrivals, check-ins and coffee runs, our paths crossed. What started as Paolo's crush on Heather soon grew into a love story that took off faster than either of us expected.

Despite working different shifts, we’ve always managed to make it work. Whether it’s squeezing in a quick meal between flights or planning trips when our schedules finally align, we’ve turned every chance we get into an adventure. Our shared love language? Boarding passes, airport lounges, discovering new food spots, and asking, “Where should we go next?” And no matter where we are in the world, one thing remains constant — Paolo cooking the best meals and Heather happily enjoying every bite.

Heather is a Gemini — curious, energetic, and always ready for a spontaneous adventure. Paolo is a Capricorn — calm, dependable, and the human version of “I’ve got it handled.” On paper, we’re complete opposites. In reality, we’re proof that sometimes the best travel buddy, favorite foodie companion, best friend, and soulmate can be the same person.
